Takisha Robinson, PhD, MBADr. Takisha Robinson, PhD, MBA, is an executive leader, educator, and clinical research professional with more than 16 years of experience across biotechnology, healthcare, and academic research environments. Her expertise spans organizational leadership, clinical operations, strategic program development, and workforce engagement, with a career dedicated to advancing innovation and improving systems that support people and communities.
Dr. Robinson has held leadership roles across biotechnology startups, contract research organizations, and academic health systems, leading multidisciplinary teams and large-scale clinical research initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes and operational excellence. Her work bridges healthcare operations, leadership strategy, and professional development within highly regulated environments. In addition to her industry leadership, Dr. Robinson serves as an instructor within the Clinical Trials: Medical Device and Drug Development certificate program at the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education, where she supports the development of clinical research professionals through applied industry education. She has also participated in research initiatives utilizing the National Institutes of Health (NIH) All of Us Research Program Workbench, applying real-world health data to support educational research, clinical strategy, and population health innovation. Dr. Robinson earned her PhD in Organizational Leadership, where her research focuses on leadership strategies that support workforce sustainability, retention, and well-being among professionals balancing leadership and caregiving responsibilities. She has been a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. since 2002 and remains actively engaged in community service and professional leadership initiatives through the San Diego Alumnae Chapter.
